Dave Johnson, senior vice president and general counsel for IGT, has been promoted to executive vice president.
Johnson joined IGT in 2003 as general counsel after serving as a partner in the law firm of Bernhard, Bradley & Johnson Chartered.
He was general counsel of Alliance Gaming from 1995 through 2000.
From 1987 to 1995, Johnson was a partner in the law firm of Schreck, Jones, Bernard,Woloson & Godfrey, and prior to that he was chief deputy attorney general for the gaming division of the Nevada Attorney General's Office.
Johnson received his law degree from Creighton University in 1978 and his bachelor's degree from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas in 1975.
