Private family services for Edward F. Chagnot Jr., 75, a 21Ú2-year resident of Carson City, will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Walton's Douglas County Mortuary.
Mr. Chagnot died March 26, 2005, at home. He was born July 26, 1929 to Edward F. and Elmyra Rodkey Chagnot in McKeesport, Pa.
He married D'Ann April 27, 1985, in Bellevue, Wash.
Mr. Chagnot previously lived for 10 years in Las Cruces, N.M.
He graduated from Penn State. He was an industrial engineer for Boeing Co. for 35 years. He served in the U.S. Army in the Korean War.
Mr. Chagnot was preceded in death by his son, Bucky.
He is survived by his wife of Carson City; daughter and son-in-law, Nina and Dean Cecille; stepsons Steve Lafayette and wife, Tressa, and Ken LaFayette; sister, Shirley Bloomster; sister-in-law Marcella Gray; grandchildren Brandon, Amanda, Kenny, Collin and Ashley; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Cremation with burial will be at his cabin in Washington.
Memorial contributions may be made in his name to a favorite charity.
Walton's Douglas County Mortuary is handling arrangements.
