American Coffee, brainchild of Geno Vickers and a concept in the making for two years, opened its doors last month at 5255 Vista Blvd., Sparks, in the Aspen Glen Shopping Center.
It's Vickers' first store; previously he worked as a computer consultant.
Along with coffee, the 1,650-square-foot shop serves smoothies, shakes, and ice cream.
Doors opened, says owner Vickers,with most of the company's concept intact.
There's more to come,with plans for additional locations and expansion of the shop's offerings.
