Lewis Viljoen has been named supervisor of Moana Nursery's erosion control division.
He will oversee work that includes hydroseeding, revegatation and street sweeping.
Viljoen recently completed a four-year enlistment in the U.S.Navy and saw combat action in the Persian Gulf in 2003.
