The Reno Tech Expo, launched with four exhibitors and eight breakout sessions five years ago, this year will feature 25 exhibitors and 18 breakout sessions.
The Tech Expo,whose lead sponsor is IQ Systems, runs from noon to 6 p.m.Wednesday at the Reno/Sparks Convention Center.
Admission is free.
As the number of breakout sessions has grown, organizers have split them into a business track and a technical track.
The business track allows participants to see how other companies are using technology to create a competitive advantage.
In the technical track, system administrators, network engineers and technical professionals discuss technological advances with industry experts.
Among the speakers are representatives of Microsoft, Cisco Systems, NEC, ShoreTel and Hewlett-Packard.
