Michael Edward Ellis, 53, a Carson City resident for the past six years, died May 3, 2005, at home. He was born March 6, 1952, in Long Beach, Calif., to George Eldon and Dolores Schnell Ellis.
Before moving to Carson City, he lived in Huntington Beach, Calif.
Mr. Ellis was an automobile salesman.
He enjoyed fishing, skiing, camping and golf.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Among his survivors are his mother; sister, Carole Chamness of Pahoa, Hawaii; brother, Herbert of Carson City; and nephews Mike Ellis of Lake Amador, Calif., and George Ellis of Arizona.
Cremation will be at FitzHenry's Crematory.
FitzHenry's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
