Carol Nearman has been hired as assistant branch sales manager in the Prater/McCarran office of Colonial Bank.
She'll be responsible for daily operation of the branch.
Nearman has more than 13 years of experience in banking.
She previously worked as a senior personal banker at another northern Nevada bank.
She has been involved in the athletics program of the University of Nevada, Reno, the United Way and the American Heart Association.
