Carol Rose Riemann-Hoden, 65, of Silver Springs died April 13, 2005, in Reno of cancer. She was born Dec. 24, 1939, in Claflin, Kan., to Neal and LaVelle.
She graduated from high school in 1957 and attended Salt Lake City Business College.
She married John in November 1963.
Mrs. Riemann-Hoden was a professional cook. She enjoyed gardening, decorating her yard, obtaining collectibles and cooking for her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents and sisters Norma Jean Price, Phyllis Arlene Riemann and Roberta Mae Riemann.
Among her survivors are her husband of Silver Springs; son, John Kevin Hoden of Reno; brothers Jim Riemann of Ellinwood, Kan., and Gerald Riemann of Hutchinson, Kan.; sisters Wanda Kuhn of Great Bend, Kan., and Beverly Stein of Decatur, Ill.; and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be at a later date.
Walton Sierra Chapel, in Reno, and Nicholson-Ricke Funeral Home, Hoisington, Kan., are in charge of arrangements.
