Fern Esther Lilje, 95, a Carson City resident for the past 17 years, died May 15, 2005, in Carson City. She was born Sept. 6, 1909, in Ohio, to Joseph and Esther Minnie Korn.
She married Walter Lilje on Nov. 27, 1930, in Ohio.
He preceded her in death in 1974 in Concord, Calif.
Before moving to Carson City, she lived in Concord.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by daughter Barbara Sue Pedersen and son James Malcom.
Among her survivors are sons Gerald Wade of Portland, Ore., and Joseph Russell of Carson City; sisters Ethel Rideout of Oregon, Ohio, and Viola Zeller of Simpsonville, S.C.; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Cremation will be at Walton's Sierra Crematory.
Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
