Seven organizations have been honored by the Northern Nevada Human Resources Association with its first Strategic Human Resources Practices Recognition.
The organizations were honored for successful and strategic human resources campaigns.
Honored were:
* Washoe County Human Resources Department.
* Washoe Medical System.
* Washoe County School District,Human Resources Department.
* University of Nevada, Reno, Office of Assistant Vice President for
Human Resources.
* Joint recognition: City of Reno, City of Sparks, and Washoe County.
The Northern Nevada Human Resources Association is the leading non-profit professional organization and provides for the professional development for over 250 members.
NNHRA is the local chapter of the Society for Human Resource Management.
