• The major problem areas: the roof, plumbing and bathrooms. Ask for a history of roof repair. Ask questions; sellers may not disclose problems that were repaired.
• In bathrooms, check for moisture under particle boards, and if the tile or vinyl floor is pulling up because of moisture damage
• Check all appliances
• Crawl into the sub-space or attic to see if there's any moisture
