Memorial services for Frances "Fran" Georgette Stephenson, 73, a longtime resident of Carson City, will be at 2 p.m. June 11 at FitzHenry's Chapel of Faith.
Mrs. Stephenson died May 20, 2005, at her home in Indian Hills. She was born June 6, 1931, in Glendale, Calif., to Francis and Lucille Clark Lewenkamp.
She married George Stephenson on Aug. 28, 1948, in Las Vegas.
Mrs. Stephenson was a homemaker and part-time dog groomer. She was an avid square dancer and enjoyed traveling in her RV.
Among her survivors are her husband of 57 years of Indian Hills; children Geri Suess of San Jose, Calif., son and daughter-in-law Michael and Stacey Stephenson of Livermoore, Calif.; brother Kenneth Lewenkamp of Carson City; grandchildren Anthony Suess and wife Hannah, Leanne Suess and Matthew Stephenson.
Cremation will be at FitzHenry's.
FitzHenry's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
