Leonard Rutman, 79, a Carson City resident for the past 28 years, died Nov. 8, 2005, at Carson-Tahoe Hospital.
He was born Oct. 12, 1926, in King County, N.Y., to Samuel and Sarah Feinberg Rutman.
He married Kathryn Rands on Sept. 5, 1964, in Las Vegas.
Before moving to Carson City, he lived in Las Vegas.
Mr. Rutman was a mechanical engineer and owned his own business in Las Vegas.
He was a 38-year member of Mount Moriah Lodge, No. 39, F&AM in Henderson.
Among his survivors are his wife of 41 years and daughter Donna Van Noller, both of Carson City, and grandchildren Nicole and Melissa Laughridge.
Cremation will be at Walton's Sierra Crematory.
At his request, there will be no service.
Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
