It's the season of feasting and fun

Well, this month is about food!

First, is the annual Turkey Drop at Mike's Pharmacy. This event is fun, easy and will help so many local families enjoy a great Thanksgiving meal.

Dana Whaley at Carson City Toyota-Mazda-Hyundai, Ackie Brazil at Carson Ford and, of course, Dick Campagni, who generously helps everyone in town, donated some great coupons to purchase more than 50 turkeys at a discounted price.

Carson City Soroptimist International took 10 coupons and purchased two turkeys with each. So if your group would like some of these wonderful coupons to help purchase more frozen turkeys for the Turkey Drop, contact me at the e-mail address below.

The turkeys will be accompanied by all the trimmings from Salvation Army to help local families enjoy a nice home-cooked meal.

Dad is in the latest production by Western Nevada Musical Theatre Company of "Fiddler on the Roof." He is performing and doing an excellent job of butcher, Lazar Wolf. I have heard from friends who have attended that it is outstanding.
