Robert S. Malley Jr.

A graveside memorial service for Robert S. Malley Jr., 69, a Gardnerville resident for the past nine years, will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Eastside Memorial Park.

Mr. Malley died Nov. 10, 2005, in Gardnerville. He was born Aug. 2, 1936, in Indianapolis, Ind., to Robert S. Sr. and Ruth Wheatley Malley.

Before moving to Gardnerville, he lived at South Lake Tahoe.

Mr. Malley worked in electronic sales and real estate. He was director of the Death Valley 49ers, past president of the Washoe Winnies-Winnebago Travelers and B.P.O. Elks, Minden/Gardnerville Lodge.

He served in the U.S. Air Force.

Among his survivors are his wife, Beverly, of Gardnerville; son and daughter-in-law Scott and Carole of Carson City; son Michael of Gardnerville and daughter Kim Cole of Castro Valley, Calif.; sister-in-law Valerie Abbott and brother-in-law Don Abbott, both of Corvalis, Ore.; six grandchildren and extended family members.

Capitol City Cremation & Burial Society is in charge of arrangements.
