Daniel Mark Cormany

A memorial service for Daniel Mark Cormany, 42, a Virginia City resident for the past 22 years, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, South Taylor Street, Virginia City.

Mr. Cormany died Nov. 14, 2005, at Washoe Medical Center. He was born Feb. 5, 1963, in San Jose, Calif., to Willis and Wilhelmina Scribner Cormany.

He graduated from Reed High School in Reno.

He married Carrie Ghiglieri on May 24, 1985, in Virginia City.

Mr. Cormany was a miner for gold. He enjoyed riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle, playing drums, and spending time with his family.

He was preceded in death by his mother in 2004; and daughter Pammie in 2000.

Among his survivors are his wife, children Nicholas and Brittani and father, all of Virginia City; sister and brother-in-law, Yvonne and Kurt Ritterby of Sparks; and brother Andy Scribner of Los Gatos, Calif.

Cremation will be at Walton's Sierra Crematory.

Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
