Stephanie Buier, 81, a Carson City resident for the past 42 years, died Nov. 19, 2005, at her home. She was born April 27, 1924, in Bridgeville, Pa., to John and Mary Pawlowski Jawor.
She married Joseph Buier.
Before moving to Carson City, she lived in Reseda, Calif.
Mrs. Buier served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.
She enjoyed art and her dog, Coco.
Among her survivors are her husband of Carson City; son Douglas of Roseburg, Ore.; daughters Karen Segale of Carson City and Barbara Franks of Santa Rosa, Calif.; sisters Elizabeth Pawlowski and Stella Pawlowski, both of Detroit; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
At her request, no service will be held.
Cremation will be at FitzHenry's Crematory.
FitzHenry's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
