Annie Uccelli has been named public information officer for the Nevada Department of Health and Human Services.
Uccelli ,who worked three years as publicist for Eldorado Hotel Casino and Silver Legacy Resort Casino in Reno, began service with the state in 2004 as public information officer for the health division's public health preparedness program.
She is a graduate of the University of Nevada, Reno.
