Washoe Medical Center's epilepsy-monitoring laboratory was awarded a five-year accreditation by the American Board of Registration of Electroencephalographic and Evoked Potential Technologists.
The center headed by Mindy Schwartz, M.D., is the second lab in the country to receive the accreditation that was created last year.
