Crimes

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

• A 19-year-old car-wash employee from Carson City was arrested at 5:04 p.m. Thursday on South Carson Meadows on suspicion of misdemeanor minor consuming. Bail was set at $237.

• Kurt Douglas Steele, 38, a cook from Carson City, was arrested at 4:15 a.m. Thursday at Seventh and Carson streets on suspicion of felony possession of methamphetamine and misdemeanor violation of bail conditions. No bail was set.

• Faustino Jesus Lopez, 22, a mover from Carson City, was arrested Tuesday on a Boulder, Colo., warrant charging him as a felony fugitive from justice. Bail was set at $15,000.

n Deputies responded to the following calls:

• Painting equipment was stolen from a vehicle in the 400 block of Park Street at 8:05 a.m.

• One employee battered another employee, leaving the victim bloodied, in the 1600 block of South Sutro Terrace at 1:34 p.m.

Lyon County

Deputies responded to the following calls Wednesday:

• A felony warrant arrest at 12:10 a.m. on Idaho Avenue in Silver Springs.

• Domestic dispute report at 1:29 a.m. in the 5600 block of Juniper Street in Silver Springs.

• An accident at 5 a.m. on eastbound Interstate 80 in Fernley.

• Residential burglary report at 7:04 a.m. on Davis Lane in Silver Springs.

• A fire call on Carry Way in Mound House at 11:08 a.m.

• A felony narcotic arrest on Highway 50 East in Dayton at 11:21 a.m.

• Vandalism report at Dayton Valley Golf Course at noon.

• Fire call on Fourth Street in Silver Springs at 12:04 p.m.

• Fire call in the 2900 block of Truckee Street in Silver Springs at 12:35 p.m.

• Juvenile problem at the Dayton Valley skate park at 2:37 p.m.

• Accident at 3:51 p.m. on southbound Highway 208.

• Battery report at the South Lyon County Medical Center at 3:54 p.m.

• Residential burglary report at 6:08 p.m. at Comstock RV Park in Mound House.

• Battery report in the 600 block of Westerlund Drive at 7:03 p.m.

• Injury to motor vehicle report at Jack In The Box in Dayton at 9:14 p.m.

• Fight in the 300 block of West Main Street in Fernley at 9:59 p.m.

Storey County

Deputies responded to the following calls Wednesday:

• A person was sleeping in a vehicle on State Route 341 at 7:03 a.m.

• A woman hit the guardrail on Geiger Grade 1.1 mile north of Virginia City at 5:48 p.m. A telephone company employee was helping her.

• A bulldozer was parked in a man's driveway on Lousetown Road without his permission at 6:29 p.m.
