A memorial Mass for Mary Ann (Pradere) Fava, 67, a Carson City resident for the past five years, will be at 12:30 p.m. Thursday at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Community.
Mrs. Fava died Oct. 9, 2005, at Carson-Tahoe Hospital. She was born Oct. 25, 1937, in Carson City to Pierre and Mary Evans Pradere .
She lived in San Francisco most of her life. She was a high school graduate.
Mrs. Fava was a customer service representative for an insurance company. She was a volunteer at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic church and at Carson-Tahoe Hospital.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Fava, in 1997.
Among her survivors are her son, Joseph Fava; daughters Deanna Smerdel and Lee Ann Hollingsworth; brother, Pete Pradere; grandchildren Jacqueline Smerdel, Jamie Fava, Joey Fava and Matthew Hollingsworth; and numerous friends.
Cremation is under the direction of Walton's Sierra Crematory in Carson City.
Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
