Elizabeth Ortiz has been hired by Washoe Medical Center as community outreach coordinator.
Ortiz previously worked as an internal quality auditor and production supervisor for International Game Technologies in Reno.
She earned a bachelor's degree in business administration from Concordia University in Irvine, Calif., and an associate's degree from the College of the Redwoods in Eureka, Calif.
