Betty Jane Kubeny, 83, a Wellington resident for the past 20 years, died Oct. 17, 2005, in Mason Valley. She was born May 31, 1922, in Wisconsin to Clarence and Marion Fredrickson Bradley.
Before moving to Wellington, she lived in Sun Valley, Calif.
Mrs. Kubeny retired from Disney Studios.
She was a real estate broker. She was president of the Business and Professional Women's Association in California, president of the chamber of commerce in Sun Valley, president of the Board of Realtors and was active in the Republican party in California and a member of the Topaz Sage Hens.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gene, in 1986; great-granddaughter Ashley Phipps; sisters Virginia Holman and Lois Walter; and brother Gordon Bradley.
Among her survivors are her son and daughter-in-law Thomas and June of Wellington; sister Gloria Stenson of Wild Rose, Wis.; brother Clarence Bradley of Wild Rose; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
No service is scheduled.
Capitol City Cremation & Burial Society is in charge of arrangements.
