Winnie B. Anderson

A service for Winnie B. Anderson, 94, a Carson City resident for the past 47 years, will be at 4 p.m. Thursday at FitzHenry's Chapel of Faith.

Mrs. Anderson died Oct. 24, 2005, in Carson City. She was born Sept. 28, 1911, in Clearlake, Iowa.

Before moving to Carson City she lived in Sand Point, Idaho.

Mrs. Anderson was a waitress at the Carson Nugget from 1958 to 1985.

She was preceded in death by son Gene and daughter Doris.

Among her survivors are sons and daughters-in-law Leon and Beverly and Lyle and Gail, all of Sand Point; daughter Reta Chandler-Tissue of Carson City; daughter and son-in-law Betty Mott-Hughes and Leonard Hughes of Gardnerville; 14 grandchildren; 16 great--grandchildren; 12 great-great-grandchildren; and one great-great-great-grandchild.

FitzHenry's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
