Margie A. Kurtz, 81, a Carson City resident died Sept. 1, 2005, in Carson City. She was born March 1, 1924, in Oklahoma to Benton and Mable Block.
Mrs. Kurtz grew up in the Reno-Sparks area and was a graduate of Sparks High School. She was a homemaker.
She enjoyed crocheting, cooking and quilting.
She was preceded in death by a daughter Linda Kurtz in 1972 and a brother Jack Block in 1986.
Among her survivors are her grandson Shane Frazer of Carson City; great-grandson Jacob Frazer; sisters Naomi and Norma; brothers Wayland Block of Reno and Nolan Block of Silver Springs.
Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
