Duane 'Luke' Williams

Funeral services for Duane "Luke" Williams, 53, of Fallon will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at the Smith Family Funeral Home, 505 Rio Vista Dr. in Fallon.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Mr. Williams died Aug. 30, 2005, at Washoe Medical Center in Reno. He was born July 7, 1952, to Everett and Rosie Allen Williams and had been a Fallon resident since 1989, coming from Carson City.

Mr. Williams was a musician and a member of the Fallon Paiute Shoshone tribe.

Among his survivors are his wife, Cher; daughters Kateri Cramer and Tami Zamarripa and son Joseph Williams, all of Fallon; daughter Lisa Piver and son Sam Evans, both of Ukiah, Calif.; twin sister, Diane Williams; brothers Mike and Randy Williams, both of Carson City; 12 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Interment will follow funeral services at the Stillwater Indian cemetery.

Smith Family Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
