Nevadaworks seeks applications from business executives to serve on its leadership council, which helps set the direction for workforce development efforts in northern Nevada.
Businesses currently represented on the Nevadaworks Council are: Applied Staffing Solutions, AT&T, Career College of Northern Nevada, Club Cal Neva, Colliers International, Cooper B-Line, Day Zimmermann Hawthorne, Griffin Transport Services, Haws Corp., IPDS, KTVN TV, Nevada Association of Employers, PC-Doctor, Rose/Glenn Group, Sierra Pacific and Wells Fargo Bank.
The organization is based in Reno.
Applications will be accepted until April 14. Council members will be appointed to three-year terms beginning July 1.
