KOLO recognized by DRI

KOLO-TV News Channel 8 of Reno has received Desert Research Institute's President's Medal.

The award honors the station's support of DRI which includes more than 20 years of science-related broadcasts and support of science education in area schools.

Also recognized by DRI for support of the institution was State Sen. William Raggio of Reno.
