Dan Beltran has been named director of food and beverage at the Wild Horse Saloon and Restaurant at the Tahoe Reno Industrial Center.
A native of Mexico, Beltran served In the Mexican army as part of the president of Mexico's personal security force. He later became personal assistant to the Governor of the State of Hidalgo in Mexico.
Beltran moved to Reno in 1983. He worked at the old Riverside Hotel & Casino, Pioneer Inn, Circus Circus and Club Cal-Neva where he worked for 14 years before moving to the Wild Horse Saloon and Restaurant.
