John Thurman has been named program manager by Nevadaworks, the agency that coordinates workforce development in northern Nevada.
Thurman has 20 years of executive experience including work as executive vice president at Frontier Tours and Golden State Coaches, chief operating officer and executive vice president at Van Galder Bus/A Coach USA Co., and vice president of operations for the Peoria Charter Coach Co..
He holds a bachelor's degree in business management from Western Illinois University.
