Josef Haas has been named general manager of Cal Neva Resort Spa & Casino at Crystal Bay.
Haas began his 43-year career in the hospitality industry with apprenticeship and study at the Hotel College of Vienna in Austria.
He has held senior management positions in hotels and resorts in Europe, Bermuda and the United States. In the United States, he has directed operations at the Kalahari Resort and Conference Center in Wisconsin, the Keystone Resort in Colorado, and the ANA Hotel in San Francisco.
