Lawrence G. Schafran, managing general partner of the New York-based investment firm Providence Recovery Partners LLC, has been appointed to the board of Reno's SulphCo Inc.
Schafran succeeds Raad Alkadiri, who resigned from the board of publicly held SulphCo in September.
