Withrow Oxygen Service Inc. of South Lake Tahoe has been acquired by a subsidiary of Praxair Inc., the largest industrial gases company in North America.
Withrow operates a retail store that sells welding, medical and industrial gas and also operates a small warehouse that will continue to serve as a distribution point, Praxair executives said last week.
