Granite starts Patagonia job

Granite Construction Company has begun work on a 170,000-square-foot addition to the service center operated in Reno by Patagonia, an outdoors outfitter.

The project is on 9.5 acres at 4th and White Fir Streets in west Reno.

Granite crews will export more than 80,000 cubic yards of soil and handle grading and paving for parking.

The project is scheduled for completion in May.

Granite's project manager is Terry Willsey and the project superintendent is Jim Kinkaid.
