AGC moves to new office in Reno

The Nevada Chapter of the Associated General Contractors has moved into its new $2 million, 12,000-square-foot office in the Dermody Business Park near Mill Street and Corporate Boulevard in Reno.

Amtech Construction Corp. of Reno was the general contractor on the design-build project.

The building nearly doubles the space previously occupied by AGC at 500 Ryland St. The contractors association sold that building to a Nevada investment firm.

Centerpiece of the new facility is a theater-style training center that can seat up to 114 people. The theater-like center features the latest A/V and video conferencing technology.

More than 300 companies are members of the AGC.
