Construction equipmentdealer opens Sparks location

Shanahan Equipment Co., a distributor of construction, mining and utilities equipment, has opened a location in Sparks.

The facility at 900 Marietta Way is the seventh for the company based at San Leandro, Calif. The other locations are in northern and central California.

The northern Nevada location provides new and rental equipment and operates a parts and service operation. It is an authorized dealer for Komatsu equipment.

Shanahan Equipment is owned by Cummins West Inc.
