The Sparks City Council awarded a $277,170 contract to Gradex Construction Company.
It will repair the pedestrian pathway on the north side of the Truckee River in Sparks. The pathway suffered major damage after the 2005 New Year's Eve flood. The work should be completed by the end of August.
