Susan Modlin, a registered nurse, has been named director of education at Washoe Medical Center.
Modlin earned her doctorate from Indiana University School of Nursing.
She earned a master's degree in nursing from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and her bachelor's degree from Purdue University.
Modlin most recently worked at Indiana University - Purdue University as assistant professor of nursing.
Earlier, she was an assistant professor of maternal child health at Purdue University.
She also has held several clinical nurse positions.
