Betsy Mellinger, public information officer for the Truckee River Flood Management Project, has earned accreditation in public relations by the Public Relations Society of America.
A journalism graduate of the University of Nevada, Reno, Mellinger is one of 13 people in northern Nevada to hold the PRSA certification.
