United starts Fernley project

United Construction of Reno started work last week on an expansion project that will more than triple the space of the Fernley City Hall.

The $7 million project designed by Sheehan-Van Woert-Bigotti Architects of Reno will add 18,800 square feet of first-floor space, and 10,000 square feet of basement space. The existing 7,000-square-foot City Hall also will be remodeled.
