Pierre Lortie has been named to the board of Reno-based Altair Nanotechnologies Inc. and will serve as chair of the board's compensation committee.
He previously worked more than 10 years as president and chief operating officer of Bombardier's transportation, capital, international and regional aircraft aerospace groups.
