Laurie Layton

Laurie Layton has been hired as customer service manager of the Carson City branch of Business Bank.

She succeeds Holly Powell, who is retiring.

Layton, who has worked in banking for 30 years, most recently worked 18 years for Bank of America as a financial sales representative, branch manager, customer service manager, personal banker. She also has worked for Wells Fargo and Greater Nevada Credit Union.

Layton attended Butte College in northern California, and is finishing a business degree at Western Nevada Community College.
