Karen Goforth has been promoted to human resources director of Silver Legacy Resort Casino.
Goforth worked for Silver Legacy since 1995. She and her husband managed Ocean Harvest Seafood Restaurant in Mammoth Lakes for 15 years before moving to Northern Nevada.
A native of Australia, Goforth also worked for the Tourist Hotel Corp. in New Zealand for two and a half years.
