James L. Christensen, M.D., has been named chief of staff and a member of the board of directors of Saint Mary's.
Christensen heads the Reno Orthopedic Clinic.
He attended the University of California, Riverside, and Creighton University, completing his internship at Sacramento Medical Center and his residency at the University of California, Davis. He completed fellowships with Merritt Hospital and Highland General in Oakland, Calif.
