The unemployment rate in the Reno-Sparks area stood at 3.6 percent in October compared with 3.3 percent a year earlier.
The region added 11,200 jobs in the 12-month period.
The jobless rate in Carson City was 4.4 percent during the month compared with 3.9 percent a year earlier.
