Marie Gibson, a Reno-based consultant who works with businesses as a QuickBooks Pro Advisor, has been named "outstanding adjunct faculty of the year" at Western Nevada Community College.
She teaches classes in business, management and accounting at the college. She also works as an instructor for the Nevada Small Business Development Center.
Gibson holds master's degrees in business and in range management from the University of Nevada, Reno.
