Novastar acquires office of Oak Street in Reno

Employment is expected to double at the Damonte Ranch office of Oak Street Mortgage, which has been acquired by Novastar Mortgage Inc.

The Reno office was one of about 21 Oak Street Mortgage locations acquired last month by Novastar, a company based at Kansas City.

Signage at the Damonte office will change in December to reflect the new name, says Jason Brothers, site director.
