Computer Corps, a nonprofit in Carson City that recycles computers and electronic waste, has been recognized with the "Environmental Achievement Award" by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.
The award recognizes a Computer Corps program that has provided refurbished equipment and training to some 8,000 needy families and about 400 organizations and schools.
