A poll taken in Carson City asked 722 people whether they felt Nevada had outgrown its brothels. In response, 80 percent said that Nevada has not outgrown its brothels, while 20 percent percent said it had.
Legal brothels are allowed in 12 of Nevada's 17 counties. Clark County, Carson City and Washoe County do not allow brothels.
