Project earns LEED Platinum

Collaborative Design Studio, a Reno-based architectural firm, said the U.S. Green Building Council has awarded LEED Platinum rating to the Tahoe Center for Environmental Sciences designed by the firm.

The center on the campus of Sierra Nevada College is the first building in Nevada to earn LEED Platinum status, and it is one of four laboratories worldwide to win the designation.

The center is a three-story, 45,000-square-foot facility.
